For parents, summer often requires thoughtful planning and preparation—of activities, logistics, and cost—to ensure your child is kept active and engaged during the 2-3 months of summer vacation. The Summer Journey program—a free, full-day program—takes much of the worry out of this planning, providing the opportunity for your child to stay engaged in learning while also having fun with friends.

In 2021, more than 30,500 Missouri students participated in Summer Journey. Offering a healthy balance of project-based academics with fun, hands-on enrichment course, Summer Journey keeps children active and engaged in the learning, even if it doesn’t feel like it.
